One trap kills mosquitoes in environments up to 10m²

Tests have shown that one MataAedes kills mosquitoes in rooms of up to 10m2 for up to 30 days. Our company is developing new formulations of the fungus that ensure that MataAedes lasts longer to kill mosquitoes.

How it Works

MataAedes uses a fungus to kill adult mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are attracted to the odor of the fungus (which is imperceptible to humans). When they enter the trap, the mosquitoes are infected by the fungus and become sick. Sick mosquitoes stop feeding on blood, biting people, transmitting dengue, Zika and chikungunya, and producing eggs. Mosquitoes die within 48 hours of contact with the fungus.
